Non-interest income totaled $369 thousand in the recent quarter, compared to $389 thousand in the year-ago quarter. With the completion of the merger, Interwise joins AT&T’s existing enterprise services organization as a subsidiary of AT&T Communications Corp. Additionally, AT&T announced the launch of AT&T Connect, the company’s first unified communications solution that provides unlimited voice, Web and video conferencing capabilities and can be scaled for businesses of all sizes. San Antonio, Texas-based AT&T said it plans to integrate Interwise’s services with AT&T Connect by the fourth quarter of 2008. AT&T noted that it is rapidly integrating its wired and wireless network assets, over which it plans to deliver a portfolio of services to help businesses integrate all of their communications applications — wired and wireless voice services, conferencing capabilities, including VoIP, Web and video, and presence-based applications, such as instant messaging and directories. Separately, AT&T announced a new international plan, under which iPhone users will get 50 MB of data per month to browse the Web, check e-mail and access other information in more than 29 countries, including Canada, China, Mexico and in areas throughout Europe and Asia. read more
