Put an ad on a free online site (Kijiji / livedeal whatever you have in your area) especially for parents:
1, Gift wrapping
2, Cleaning house
3, Shovelling snow
4, Babysitting
I know I could sure use all of those right around this time of year!
UPS is always hiring here in Illinois and the money and hours are good. Do you have that near you? They have late day shifts.
A lot of stores need part time help in the evening!! Maybe try starbucks. If you want more money try Nordstrom because they pay a very good commission. They will normally let you say you will only work after 5pm. Hope this helps and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!! Thats SJ California, right?

I’ve been strapped for cash around the holidays, too. I used to get a second job specifically for that purpose, but you probably would’ve had to start looking in November.
Better than putting yourself into debt would be to get creative and make something or do something for them as a gift.
if you have a job and a checking account look up payday loans on the internet. i have 4 out now due to $$ problems. they do have a small fee but when you need money they help. there are tons of them.
