Jurors voted during Monday’s regular meeting to ask the State Bond Commission to approve the loan, which would be paid back within five years. The other $100,000 will be paid from the parish’s general fund, said Catahoula Parish Police Jury President Jackie Paulk. Garry Wright, who resigned as Police Jury president last week after less than two months on the job, questioned how the parish would repay the money.
