Plasmatronics owners told city leaders earlier this month that they wanted to end a $500,000 loan. Plasmatronics announced last year that it planned to open a high-tech manufacturing and research center that it said would employ 220 people. The company wanted to make an ignition system that would increase gas mileage and reduce air pollution.
