$1,200 - do you have anything to sell or trade? Get on craigslist.com and see what kind of deals you can make if you do.
Quick work? Look at social clubs, golf clubs, nights of columbus etc and see if any big events are going on…. they might need extra hands for a big dinner or event.

Payday loans and cash advance are the WORST thing you could possibly do. DO NOT USE THEM. The interest rate is just insane and you will never get them paid off. First off, I’d ask your parents. Parents are usually good for an interest free loan and usually will help you decide if it is actually a good deal. The second choice is to see if the seller will give you a payment plan. Beyond that you should just save up the money and pay cash for everything.
Most of the other suggestions are based on earning the money by selling your body. The pay can be good but the work is dangerous and often illegal. Your dignity is not worth it.

Poor credit car loans have been specifically designed for those people who have trouble getting credit due to their credit score being too low, if your credit score is too low then you will be seen as a huge risk and as such the lender will not take a chance on you and so turn you down. However unless you know something about car loans and in particular what to look for when it comes to getting a poor credit car loan then you could end up paying way over the odds for the privilege of getting the loan.
